Spa Etiquette

Arrival

You will be welcomed with a warm smile and offered a refreshing glass of water, herbal tea or coffee, along with a healthy snack. We ask guests to turn off or silence pagers and cell-phones upon arrival.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. If you arrive late, your appointment will be limited to the time allocated for the convenience of the next scheduled guest.

What to bring

We will provide you with a comfortable robe, slippers and private cubby for your personal possessions. Please leave valuables at home or in your Guest Room as the Spa cannot assume responsibility for lost or misplaced items.

If you wish to use the Jacuzzi Hot Tub, please bring a bathing suit.

Health Forms

Guests are required to complete a health form to enable our therapists to tailor treatments to your individual needs.Please advise of any health conditions at the time of booking. Please note that some treatments are not recommended for expectant mothers.

Insurance Receipts

Receipts are provided with each Therapeutic Massage or Registered Reflexology session, but some restrictions apply. Insurance receipts cannot be issued for services if paid for by a gift card. Please check with your employer or health care benefits for your eligible coverage. 

Steam Room & Sauna

Feel free to begin your spa experience in our steam room, prior to body treatments. We also have a sauna for your enjoyment.

Jacuzzi Hot Tub

It is strongly advised not to use the hot tub before or after any essential oil treatment, as the chemicals used for tub maintenance could cause a skin reaction. Bathing suit required.

All treatment times are approximate. Please note that Elm Hurst Inn & Spa is an equal-opportunity employer. If a female RMT or Esthetician is preferred, please advise at time of booking.

Cancellations

Spa treatments are reserved especially for you. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel, reschedule or change your treatment. No-shows will be charged in full.

Tipping

Gratuities are not included in our prices, but are always appreciated for excellent service.
