Thank you to the Elm Hurst team for making our intimate affair a wonderfully special day. From relaxing spa treatments the night before to an elegant dinner, every detail was taken care of. We awoke to a glorious day with bunnies and butterflies outside our window. The marble gazebo with the fountain in the background was a lovely ceremony setting. Floral sprays of white with greenery looked perfect on the pedestals. Our private dining room was decorated beautifully - black and white with Tiffany blue accents - sunlight pouring in as we enjoyed a four-course dinner. The meal and service were excellent; champagne toasts, lovely wines, red velvet cupcakes, and butter tarts with ice cream were huge hits. I could not have asked for a more perfect day surrounded by loved ones in such a beautiful environment. Looking forward to future stays and special dinners at Elm Hurst, such a lovely venue close to home.

First ever facial and I loved it. Given a robe and slippers, I was led to a private treatment room and met my aesthetician, who examined my skin under a magnifying light and explained my skin type. For an hour she alternated warm cloths, layered masks (some cool, some active and tingly), and gentle massage for face, neck, and arms. I left glowing, relaxed, and genuinely confident - a changed person who will absolutely return for another treatment.

Wanderlog - Girls' Night Retreat (2023-01-01)
Stayed with my sister for a girls' night. Victorian feel yet clean and cozy. Spa offers massages, facials, body treatments, and an infrared sauna. Delicious restaurant food. Even with two weddings we were not disturbed. The property is beautiful - take a stroll for extra relaxation. I will definitely be back.

We chose the restaurant for clearly marked gluten-free options (I have celiac). Items required modifications, which was disappointing. However, our waitress was wonderful and the team went above and beyond. Overall food was very good - the creme brulee especially - and service was caring.

The Restless Worker - Romantic Weekend Stay (2022-10-01)
From the moment you drive up the long lane and the 1872 mansion comes into view, you feel the history. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. Dinner was good and breakfast the next morning was an abundant buffet with eggs, bacon, scones, muffins, yogurt, and more. There were multiple weddings on site but our stay was still relaxed and quiet. A perfect getaway from Toronto with lots of private spots to enjoy the grounds.
